The MultiMuse Manifesto

Justin Koren, Founder·July 24, 2026·3 min read

We believe the audience was never meant to just watch. Here is what we are building, and why.

For twenty years, the internet has asked you to do one thing.

Watch.

Watch the video. Watch the launch. Watch other people build, decide, create, and win — from the other side of a screen, with nothing to do but tap a heart and scroll to the next thing.

We think that is broken.

What we believe

We believe watching is not the same as taking part.

We believe a like was never real participation. It was the smallest possible action, handed to you at the very end, after every decision that mattered had already been made.

We believe people are not tired of creators. They are tired of feeling like everything is made at them.

We believe the most valuable thing you can give someone is not more content to consume. It is a say in what happens next.

We believe your audience is full of people who would show up, decide, and build with you — if you ever actually let them.

What we are building

MultiMuse is a place where the audience stops watching and starts directing.

You post a real, open decision. Your people weigh in. They pick. And then you actually do the thing they chose.

Not a poll. Not "feedback." The verdict is real — what the crowd directs, the creator makes.

We call it CrowdDirecting.

The creator still holds the pen. You decide what is open and what is not; you steer the whole thing. But the audience is finally in the room, shaping the parts they have only ever been allowed to react to.

Why it matters

Because there is a feeling almost no platform gives people anymore, and it is the one that actually matters:

"I played a part in that."

Not "I watched that." Not "I liked that." I made that happen, a little. I was counted.

We want a world where millions of people can look at something real — a song, a shoot, a product, a moment — and know they helped direct it.

Who this is for

This is for the creators who have always felt their audience could be more than a number.

And it is for everyone who has ever been stuck watching, wishing they could do something other than double-tap.

We are building it in the open. It is early, it is rough in places, and we are figuring a lot of it out as we go. We are not going to fake momentum we do not have, or promise a date we cannot keep.

But we are sure about the thing underneath all of it:

People are done just watching.

If that is you — follow the build. Let's make something you can point at and say you helped direct.
